Dental implants are small, titanium rods that are capped with abutments and support false teeth. The rods are surgically placed in your jawbone, and fuse while you heal. Once fused, you are left with a strong, stable "root" that can be used to support any number of teeth.

All-on-4® Treatment Concept
As the name suggests, we can create a strong, stable, permanent set of false teeth on only 4 implants. This is done by placing two implants toward the front of your mouth, both completely vertical. The other two implants are placed toward the back of the jaw at a 45-degree angle.

CEREC® Same Day Crowns
CEREC® uses CAD/CAM (computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing) technology to take impressions and fabricate a custom crown right on the spot. Rather than a traditional impression, CEREC® takes an optical impression, which it uses to design your crown. In doing so, the needs for a temporary crown, a lengthy wait for your permanent crown, and a second visit are eliminated entirely, which saves you valuable time in your busy schedule.

Why a Prosthodontist?
While proper oral care, including brushing, flossing, and regular dental visits, is an important part of keeping your teeth clean, strong and healthy, sometimes things happen. A tooth may get chipped. You might get an infection. You could lose a tooth. When this happens, you need the assistance of someone who is trained to solve these issues. At Tuttle Crossing Dental Group, Dr. Phillip Elmo is such a doctor for you: a prosthodontist.
