You can experience improvements every day, but it will generally take you about a month to carry out your normal activities without much trouble. Wearing dentures require some getting used to. Fortunately, there are ways to help you adjust much faster. For one, you should avoid eating foods that require a lot of chewing. Consume soft foods until you are used to eating with your dentures.
Learn to chew using both sides so that your dentures will remain balanced. As you progress, you can start eating regular food, but make sure to cut them into smaller bites and to continue chewing on both sides. Remember to increase your fluid intake and to avoid hard and sticky foods as well.
